Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This policy explains how Driven+ collects and uses personal information for our UK membership and benefits platform, and your rights under UK GDPR.

1. Information We Collect

Account information (name, email, password in hashed form, phone number if given); employment details (employer, job role, staff or payroll number, transport sector); eligibility verification evidence you choose to upload, such as a payslip, employee ID badge or professional licence; membership records including your membership number, status and renewal date; payment records held by our payment processor; and basic technical information generated when you use the platform.

2. Why We Process It, and Our Legal Bases

To create and administer your membership and provide the platform (performance of a contract); to verify your eligibility to join (contract and our legitimate interests in ensuring benefits go to genuine transport workers); to take payment and manage renewals (contract); to provide support and respond to queries (contract and legitimate interests); to keep the platform secure and prevent fraud or misuse (legitimate interests and legal obligations); to meet legal and accounting duties (legal obligation); and to send marketing where you have opted in (consent, which you may withdraw at any time).

3. Payment Processing

Card payments are processed by Stripe Payments UK Ltd, which acts as an independent controller for payment data. Driven+ never receives or stores your full card details. We retain a record of your membership payments, renewal dates and subscription status.

4. Verification Evidence

Files you upload for verification are stored securely, are accessible only to authorised Driven+ staff carrying out verification, and are used solely to confirm your eligibility. They are not shared with partners.

5. Email and Communications

Membership emails, such as verification decisions and renewal reminders, are sent using a transactional email provider acting on our behalf as a processor.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to secure your session. See our Cookie Policy for full detail.

7. Information Sharing

We share personal information only with service providers acting on our instructions (hosting, payment processing, email delivery and secure file storage), and where required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell personal information.

8. Partner Interactions

When you claim an offer, a partner may see your name, membership number and verification status in order to honour the discount. Any information you give a partner directly is handled under that partner's own privacy policy.

9. Data Retention

We keep membership and payment records for as long as your membership is active and afterwards for as long as needed for legal, accounting and dispute-handling purposes. Verification evidence is kept only as long as necessary to confirm and, where relevant, reconfirm eligibility.

10. Data Security

Passwords are stored hashed, access to member data is restricted to authorised staff, transport is encrypted in transit, and administrative and partner access is role-restricted.

11. Your UK GDPR Rights

You have the right to access your personal information; to have inaccurate information corrected; to erasure where applicable; to restrict or object to processing where applicable; to data portability where applicable; and to withdraw consent where we rely on consent. Email info@driven-plus.co.uk to exercise any of these rights.

12. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your personal information you may complain to us and to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
